Our plant nursery at Hobsonville needs volunteers

16th August 2012 | Nicky Davis

Would you like to be part of the changing face of Hobsonville Point by helping to grow new native plants there? On Wednesday mornings we will be welcoming volunteers to the Hobsonville Community Plant Nursery (behind the Market Hall on Hastings Crescent MAP ). No gardening experience is needed; you will learn to collect and sow new seeds and cuttings, pot on young seedlings, and do some weeding and light maintenance tasks.

Register your interest by calling Jackie Knight on (09) 482 1172 or email her.

Nursery Assistant Wayne Young (below) looks forward to welcoming volunteers to the Plant Nursery.
