It’s our AGM next Thursday 25th October at the Rawene Centre in Birkenhead,  We have some excellent speakers booked and it will be a night to celebrate.

Speaker – Councillor Penny Hulse- Chair of Auckland Council Community and Environment Committee and long-time community leader

Speaker – Forest & Bird Youth – A new leadership initiative making great strides

Speaker – Charmaine Bailie – Chair of Kaipatiki Project and long-time environmental leader

Kaipatiki Project Environment Centre turns 20 this year, and we are inviting our extended friends and whanau to join us to celebrate! We would be honoured if you could join us, and please feel free to share with others. It will be a chance for new and old volunteers to reconnect and locals to find out about our local restoration work.

6pm                   Arrival, mingling, drinks and nibbles

6.30pm             Formalities, presentation of our new Annual Report, election of new                                   Board members

7.10                  Community environmental changemaking: past, present,future”
