Hosted by Engineering for Sustainable Development
Join us to transform soft plastic waste into sustainable building blocks called ecobricks!
We’ll give a demo on how to make an ecobrick (its super easy), provide all the materials and treat you to free snacks and hot drinks. Just bring a pair of scissors and a mug for drinks.
Hosted in the UoA Bee Sanctuary – a beautiful community garden on the University of Auckland Campus – this workshop is part of the Ecobrick Project run by ESD (Engineering for Sustainable Development). Since launching in 2024, the we’ve made 1000-1400 plastic bags worth of ecobricks!
Be part of this awesome mahi- come along for some fresh air, tasty snacks and repurposing plastic waste into something meaningful!
