Planting Morning in Eskdale Reserve

Join us at our FINAL PLANTING DAY for the year!

The native plants, kindly sponsored by our friends at Ethos, will provide excellent habitat for our local titiwai (NZ glowworms).

Titiwai love the damp dense bush and sheltered, shady stream banks found throughout the Auckland region. Several established populations living in the Eskdale Reserve have been severely disrupted by recent extensive track modification. Our final planting for this season will be to help reestablish their habitat.

So come along and help our fantastic titiwai thrive again!

Bring along your gloves if you have some, water and closed-toe footwear. Thank you for all your help and we look forward to seeing you there.

About our friends at Ethos and why we partnered with them

A local team based on Auckland's North Shore offer a range of skincare made with naturally-fermented, single-origin virgin coconut oil. All their products are 100% natural-origin, plant-derived preservation and ethically sourced.

We like that and so do our streams and waterways!

Ethos are kindly sponsoring the planting of 1,000 native plants close by a stream to support titiwai's natural habitat.
