Bring your kids along for nature play, learning and creativity at Kaipātiki Project!
Part of our kids school holiday activities, this workshop is suitable for children age 5+ with their accompanying parent or adult caregiver.
What to expect on the day:
- Enjoy a guided walk through Eskdale Reserve
- Then decorate your own “pot plant pet” and plant seeds in it. Take your creation home and watch it’s hair grow and flower over the coming months!
- Finally, if time allows, keep your creative flow going at the EcoHub with botanical pattern making
What we will learn about:
- Learn about the local ngahere/ forest on our guided walk
- Learn about the bees, butterflies and wild flowers that will sprout in your pot
- Learn new nature-based craft ideas
What is included in the ticket:
- Tea and coffee for the grown ups!
- All art materials, pots, soil and seeds are included.

$25 for one child / $35 for two or more children
