Meet the Kaipatiki team.

A dedicated crew of staff, tutors, Board members and volunteers helps Kaipatiki Project to achieve its objectives.

Nicky Davis

Nicky Davis

Marketing Manager

Nicky is responsible for spreading the word on what Kaipatiki is doing and letting the community know about our courses and services. Emails, posters, signage and events all get Nicky's touch as she finds creative ways to communicate our offerings. Nicky was originally from the UK and brings 10 years marketing experience, including the last seven working for public service and charities. Nicky says she is very excited about the opportunity to work for a local organisation, and brings a keen interest in sustainability. “I want my children to grow up understanding the importance of looking after the environment.”

Sandra Atkins

Sandra Atkins

Admin Manager

Sandra joined the team in November 2015. Her role is to be the administrative glue that keeps the team together and functioning well. Apart from helping her husband set up and run his own business, what makes Sandra so qualified for this role is she is a 'cricket Mum' - and if you can score a game of cricket you can pretty much do anything.

Danielle Guy

Danielle Guy

Events Manager

Dani has recently joined the Kaipatiki Project as our new Events Manager after completing 18 years service as a Supply Officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy, where she worked in logistics, hospitality management, finance and a bit of HR! Whilst she has significant experience in management, leading teams and organising 'stuff'; she also has a real passion for conservation and sustainability issues and a post graduate diploma in Environmental Management.
A Beach Haven local and mother of two young daughers, Dani can often be seen walking the streets trying to get her baby to sleep or taking her toddler to one of the local parks. If she had any spare time, she'd spend it doing yoga, scuba diving or drinking 'proper' coffee at a cafe.
