Show corporate social responsibility by volunteering with Kaipātiki Project. Join our volunteering whānau to get up close with nature. From weeding and trapping to growing and planting, get your hands dirty and connect with your team.

Getting your staff away from the daily grind with a day in nature can really lift their spirits – helping them to make a difference in a very real way. It feels great to learn with others and help our natural world.

This work helps the lasting regeneration of local reserves and significant ecological areas across Auckland.

Working together, we can restore our native plants, birds, bugs and fish.

Practical details

We welcome corporate volunteering groups on Fridays and can host groups of 6 – 15 people. We will work with you to make the session most enjoyable. If a Friday doesn't suit, please let us know and we'll see if another day is available.

Where: Our EcoHub and the surrounding forest reserves we care for are just a 20-minute drive from central Auckland.

Available packages:

Half-day team building volunteering day (3 hours) - fee of $750 + GST
Full-day team building volunteering day (5 hours) - fee of $1,200 + GST
Half-day planting day with 80 native plants supplied (3 hours) - $1,600 + GST

Brand Exposure: Corporate Social Responsibility allows you to enact positive change. Consumers are influenced by how socially responsible a company they’re dealing with is. This helps build trust, raise awareness, and encourages social change. We regularly communicate with 15,000 of highly engaged households, many face-to-face through volunteering and events, social media, newsletters, websites and workshops.
Corporate Volunteering: Days away from the normal work environment can truly boost morale and increase team cohesiveness. A day with us certainly ticks all the boxes, while connecting with nature and giving back to the community. Team activities include working in our plant nursery, weeding, planting trees (May-Sept), learning about trapping pests as a practical field work.
Your Impact and Involvement – Facts, Anecdotes and Storytelling: We can provide content you can use for your internal communications, Annual Report, Investor Relations or customer engagement. This can range from impact reporting, anecdotes, imagery and video.
