Using every bit of the food you buy can make a difference to your budget, your health, and to the environment! What's more, eating "from root to tip" can add new and exciting flavours and textures to your food. Join us for a fun 2 hours of learning, and try some interesting refreshments.

#1 Buy Smart – Plan your week's meals

24 October, 10:30am - 11:30am

This first interactive, fun workshop will help you with Household Weekly Meal Planning. Whether this sounds exciting, a bit boring… or intimidating to you, we can give you the tricks and tips to make it easier. In only 1 hour, we will show that planning your meals seriously saves food from going to waste, and bonus, it saves money too!

#2 Keep Smart – Store food sustainably

31 October, 10:30am - 11:30am

This workshop is all about the best ways to store your food at home. Learn some new ways to keep things fresh for longer using sustainable materials, and share your favourite tips. Chuck the clingwrap, and dive into 1 hour of fun, learning and sharing.

#3 Reuse Smart – Cooking with leftovers

07 November, 10:30am - 11:30am

This workshop is all about inspiring you to do more with leftovers. One has to get creative sometimes to make leftovers appealing, imagine your whanau asking for leftovers because they taste so good! Join us for 1 hour and learn some new ways and share you favourites!
