An estimated 80% of ocean litter originates on land, we can seriously reduce the amount of rubbish in our oceans and thereby reduce the number of deaths of sea mammals and birds with our beach clean ups.

This year for EcoFest North we will literally be saving lives just by spending an hour or two on the beach with some great people! Meet us on the beach in front of the Browns Bay Marine Centre, we provide some buckets, rubbish bags, pick-up sticks and gloves, but if you do have your own gloves and buckets please do bring them along. Bring yourself some water and dress according to the weather.
