Join our environmental volunteering whānau to get up close with nature and work alongside our team and other local volunteers. From bush restoration, weeding and trapping to growing food and planting, there are many options to choose from. We offer flexible arrangements and a variety of roles including; project-based volunteering, corporate and community group volunteering, regular volunteering at a nursery, garden or reserve, operational, marketing and administrative support, community restoration days, internship, training for restoration leaders and board governance. Everyone is welcome to join, even if it is just to enjoy morning tea.

Our volunteers have even crafted a recipe booklet brimming with delicious morning tea ideas.

  • You can volunteer regularly, casually or on a one-off basis.
  • We welcome and celebrate diversity, including people with disabilities and those who are neurodivergent. Our spaces and programmes aim to be inclusive, supportive and accessible to all.
  • We help people at all stages of their sustainable living journey – we’ll help you wherever you are.
  • We provide tertiary students and interns with the hands-on experience they look for to further their education.
