What is Every Bite?

Every Bite is helping New Zealanders make simple changes at home to waste less food and save more money. Join us to celebrate Food Appreciation Month this May!

Every Bite is a four-week programme that kicks off with a launch event on May 6th or 7th (you choose). From then it requires minimal time commitment as you tick off at-home tasks before rejoining programme participants for a fun wrap-up event on May 31st at our EcoHub.

The programme helps identify ways you can reduce your environmental impacts by tracking food waste, organising your kitchen and getting creative with leftovers and seasonal produce.

Join the programme launch at Ohui Restaurant. Head Chef Dinesh will be doing a live demonstration of menu favourites and talking us through the essentials to minimise food waste. Learn essential storage hacks and how to maximise seasonal produce and minimise food waste both in a restaurant and at home.

As one of only eight local delivery partners, we hope to create an inspirational experience, offering practical skills, tips and tricks so you can take the next step in your sustainable food journey.

Additionally, if you're not an Auckland local Every Bite offers an online facilitated programme led by a sustainability coach, which can be joined from anywhere in Aotearoa!

Join the movement, participate in our Kaipātiki Project hosted programme, and see how much food and money you can save this May!
