Pectinopitys ferruginea, commonly called miro or brown pine, is a dioecious evergreen conifer in the family Podocarpaceae. Endemic to New Zealand, it occurs across the North, South, and Stewart Islands, typically in lowland to montane forests. Mature trees may reach about 25 m (80 ft) in height and develop trunks 1–1.5 m (3–5 ft) in diameter.
