Annual 24-hour run challenge through the beautiful reserve with North Shore 24 HR:

A free, outdoor event for all ages, paces and walks of life.

Register below to run or walk this 6.3km loop once, or as many times as you like, within the 24-hour window of the race. This is a fun way to challenge yourself, deeply breathe in the fresh forest air, enjoy nature from dawn until dawn, get to know Eskdale Reserve, and connect with your local community.

Litter Clean-Up in the reserve with Kaipātiki Project (NO booking required):

Whether you enter the race or not, everyone is welcome to join us to experience the excitement, enjoy the bush at all hours, cheer the runners on and help us pick up litter throughout Eskdale Reserve.

We'll be hosting a coordinated clean-up between 10am and 12pm, but that doesn’t stop you from seeking out litter to collect at any hours outside of that time – during the race, and beyond.
