Te Ara Awataha: Pā Harakeke Regeneration

WORKING BEE | Join us in regenerating the Te Ara Awataha Pā Harakeke that was planted for the community by Northcote Intermediate students.

What to Expect: We’ll be weeding around the harakeke plants, removing all the grass, laying out cardboard and mulching.

About the Greenway: Gain hands-on experience caring for native plants, as well as get to know more about this special place. Our ecologist will be there to guide you every step of the way.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Connect with nature and your community
  • Gain valuable knowledge in Pā Harakeke maintenance
  • Make a tangible impact on your local environment

Meeting Location: Te Ara Awataha – Opposite 30 Frazer Avenue, Northcote
