In a move towards environmental stewardship, BFM® Global has partnered with Kaipātiki Project, environmental champions who have been regenerating the local reserves for over 26 years. Located just a short walk from the Kaipātiki Project EcoHub and the Eskdale Reserve, BFM ® Global is not only contributing hands-on efforts but also supporting other initiatives led by Kaipātiki Project.
BFM® Global, the manufacturer of the patented BFM® fitting industrial connector system, was founded by CEO Blair F. McPheat. The BFM® fitting system is a unique product that was designed to address common issues with traditional, clamped-style industrial connectors, such as dust leakage and downtime for refits. The connector effectively reduces waste in the production process through lowering product leakage and requiring fewer connector replacements. This innovative solution has been embraced by leading manufacturers in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and mineral industries worldwide, and BFM® makes all their products locally in their Birkdale production plant.
Team Impact & Habitat Transformation
Demonstrating their commitment to sustainability, the BFM® team recently spent an entire day volunteering at the Eskdale Reserve. They rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty to remove an incredible amount of invasive weeds. This effort created much-needed space for native plants to flourish.
The team’s enthusiasm and teamwork were evident as they tackled the challenging task. Their dedication to the cause was inspiring, and their hard work significantly contributed to the ongoing regeneration efforts. By the end of the day, the area had been transformed, showcasing the positive impact of their collaboration.
