This month we’re working beyond our usual borders... Glencourt Reserve is a small natural space in Glenfield, where a little culvert sits with a mini wetland at the bottom. It is completely wild and abandoned — choked with invasive plants. Help us make space for water here, to keep our streams safe, healthy and flood-resilient!
To be prepared for potential flooding events, we will:
- Regenerate the natural ecosystem by removing invasive plants.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy closed shoes, bring sunblock and sun hat if relevant and a reusable drink bottle. A reasonable level of mobility and the ability to follow simple instructions if necessary. Gloves are provided but are not personal, so you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
